ROBERT PISANIELLO Robert is a founding partner of Eon Design. He studied architecture at the University of Adelaide receiving a degree of Bachelor of Design Studies (1996) and an honours degree of Bachelor of Architecture (1998). After graduation Robert moved to Melbourne where he worked for several architecture, interior design and graphic design firms specialising in hospitality and retail projects. Robert leads the design process and client liaison on all of Eon Design's projects. He is involved with each project from initial design to completion of construction. His cross disciplinary approach to design is a result of his varied professional experience at different design firms. He is skilled at design detailing and at ensuring the detail is translated to the building during construction. He is also particularly interested in lighting and its effects on forms and within interior spaces and as a result generally features lighting as a major artistic component of his architecture and interior work. He is a Registered Building Practitioner in Victoria. |

KAREN PISANIELLO Karen is a founding partner of Eon Design. She studied architecture at the University of Adelaide receiving degrees of Bachelor of Architectural Studies (1994) and Bachelor of Architecture (1997). After graduation Karen worked in Adelaide for a year before moving to Melbourne in 1999 to work for architectural firm Peddle Thorp Melbourne. During her time there she worked predominantly on multi-unit medium to large scale residential developments. Karen undertakes the initial design and concept planning of all of Eon Design's projects with specific skills in space and circulation planning. She applies passive design strategies to all of the studio's projects and further extends her commitment to sustainable architecture with extensive knowledge of energy efficiency and thermal comfort in buildings and new technologies in environmentally sustainable construction. She is a Registered Architect in Victoria and South Australia. |
